Spring Break Academy Overview

Overview of Soccer Academies Spring Break Academy

The main emphasis of the spring break camp is player development. Through quality coaching and an age specific curriculum, we aim to develop skills fundamental to the game of soccer in a fun and stimulating environment. The camp is co-ed and participants will be divided into appropriate groups relating to age and /or ability level. A progressive curriculum has been devised that will provide a week packed full of soccer specific activities aimed at developing basic skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, as well as the opportunity for goalkeeper specific training, all coached in a fun and challenging environment.

The camp is staffed by members of the Dartmouth College soccer coaching staff with players from the Dartmouth soccer teams acting as assistants. We strongly believe small sided games best encourage young players to apply skills they learn throughout the camp. The daily schedule will regularly include numerous small sided game opportunities.

Certified athletic trainers will be present at all times to care for the players.
